A welcoming Methodist congregation committed to serving Chew Stoke and the surrounding community through prayer, worship, and compassionate outreach.
Presence and Witness
There has been a Methodist community in Chew Stoke for more than 220 years – a Christian congregation which worships regularly on Sunday mornings (at 10:30am on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month). The bi-centenary of the building was held in 2016.
We extend a warm welcome to all who would like to visit our church and seek to provide worship and activities relevant to the lives of all around us.

Methodist Hall
Used for many church events, including a monthly village Lunch Club and other meetings.
Other hall users include Beavers and Slimming World sessions. It is also used for children’s parties and church away/study days and weekend camps for uniformed organisations and other community groups.
There is a small carpark, and the hall opens onto relaxing gardens – ideal for a picnic!
